September 27 - Day 1

Arrive in Vancouver airport where you will be transferred to our hotel. You have the afternoon at leisure. In the evening we’ll have our welcome group dinner at a local restaurant (Included)

September 28 - Day 2

We will spend the day at leisure, exploring Vancouver as a group. Group dinner in the evening (payable locally)

September 29 - Day 3

After breakfast we depart for our trip on the Rocky Mountaineer Train as we “Journey Through the Clouds” leaving Vancouver and heading into the wilderness. Today we follow the scenic Fraser River Eastbound where we will see dramatic changes in scenery. From the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley and the forests and winding river canyons surrounded the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like landscapes of the BC interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Our day ends in the evening as the train travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into the town of Kamloops where we overnight for 1 night. This evening we will take our group dinner locally (payable locally)

September 30 - Day 4

We will be transferred from our hotel to the train station for day 2 aboard the Rocky Mountaineer. Our journey continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again, you will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Today's highlights include Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, followed by Pyramid Falls and the climb over the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. Your rail journey ends this evening on arrival in the resort town of Jasper. Overnight in Jasper.

October 1 - Day 5

Today we have a day at leisure to explore Jasper and the surrounding areas. We will take our group dinner in Jasper (payable locally)

October 2 - Day 6

Today we continue our Canadian adventure by coach as we head towards Lake Louise on the Icefields Parkway Discovery Tour, a scenic route through the Rocky Mountains taking in glaciers, waterfalls and mountain lakes with stops at Athabasca Falls and the Columbia Icefield, ending in Lake Louise where we’ll spend 2 nights. This evening we will take dinner in a restaurant close by (payable locally)

October 3 - Day 7

Today we have a day at leisure, exploring Lake Louise as a group.

October 4 - Day 8

Today we head to Banff by coach taking the Mountains, Lakes & Waterfalls tour where we will be surrounded by soaring mountains, stunning lakes, and breathtaking waterfalls. This journey takes us to the most treasured spots on this route. Some of the highlights include Lake Louise, crossing the Continental Divide, Takakkaw Falls*, Kicking Horse Pass, Emerald Lake, the Natural Rock Bridge that spans across the Kicking Horse River, and Moraine Lake. We end today in Banff, our home for 2 nights. We will have our group dinner at a restaurant close by (payable locally)

October 5 - Day 9

Today we have a 5 hour excursion planned discovering Banff and it’s wildlife, taking in stunning viewpoints and watching out for Banff’s famous wildlife before ascending by gondola to a mountain summit for 360-degree views over Banff and the spectacular Rocky Mountains. This evening’s group dinner will be in a Banff restaurant (payable locally)

October 6 - Day 10

Today we are transferred to Calgary airport for our flight to Toronto where we will spend the next 3 nights.

Internal flight to Toronto and transfers to our accommodation are included in your price

October 7 - Day 11

Today we have a day at leisure to explore Toronto. We will take our group dinner at a local restaurant (payable locally)

October 8 - Day 12

Today is one of the many hightlights of the trip as we spend the day visiting discovering one of the world’s most famous waterfalls, The Niagara Falls. All transportation to/from the Falls are included.

We will take our farewell group dinner at a local restaurant (Included)

This morning we say our fond farewells before being transferred to Toronto airport for our flights home
