Arrive in Paris Upon arrival in Paris, the group is greeted by our England speaking tour escort who will be with us throughout our tour. We will take our welcome dinner at a traditional Parisian brasserie. Overnight in Paris. Pullman Paris Montparnasse 4*
Day 2 | 5 July 2027: (B)
After breakfast we have Paris Sightseeing with a unique two-hour tour of Paris in a vintage Citroën 2CV car. The tour ends in Montmartre, a historic artists’ district known for its cobbled streets, bohemian vibe, and the stunning Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Enjoy a guided walking tour, diving into Montmartre’s history as a hub for artists. You will have the opportunity to explore Sacré-Cœur, which offers panoramic views of Paris from its steps. We will take our group dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Paris.
Day 3 | 6 July 2027 (B):
After breakfast we will be transferred by private coach for our visit to the city’s most iconic landmark, the Eiffel Tower. After lunch we have an afternoon visit to the magnificent Versailles Palace. We will take our group dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight Paris
Day 4 | 7 July 2027 (B):
After breakfast we will be transferred by private coach to Normandy. Our first stop is Calvados Tasting at the Calvados Christian Drouin Distillery. The day continues in Caen, a historic city with deep connections to William the Conqueror and WWII. A guided walking tour reveals landmarks such as the Château de Caen and the Abbey of SaintÉtienne. Day 5 | 8 July 2027 (B):
Today is dedicated to exploring the history of the D-Day landings. The tour includes a visit to Omaha Beach, one of the most significant landing sites, and the American Cemetery, where thousands of soldiers are commemorated. In Arromanches, we will visit the DDay Museum, which tells the story of the Mulberry Harbour, and watches an immersive film at Arromanches 360. The day ends with a stop at Les Sablés d’Asnelles, a traditional biscuit factory, where we will enjoy a tasting. We will take our group dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Caen.
Day 6 | 9 July 2027 (B):
After breakfast we are transferred by private coach to Mont Saint-Michel A highlight of the trip, Mont Saint-Michel is one of France’s most iconic landmarks. We will have a guided tour through the medieval village, leading up to the stunning Mont Saint-Michel Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage site perched atop the tidal island. Upon arrival in Rennes, we will have free time to discover the city’s half timbered houses and elegant Parliament of Brittany. Overnight in Rennes area. Day 7 | 10 July 2027 (B):
After breakfast, our journey continues into the Loire Valley, known for its Renaissance châteaux and vineyards. Our visits today include Château de Villandry, famous for its meticulously designed French gardens. Next, we experience a traditional wicker handcraft workshop in Villaines-les-Rochers, where local artisans demonstrate their skills. The afternoon is spent with free time to explore Amboise, a historic town on the Loire River. We will take our group dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Amboise. Day 8 | 11 July 2027 (B):
After breakfast our daybegins with a scenic river cruise along the Cher River, offering stunning views of Château de Chenonceau. We then tour the château, known as the “Ladies’ Castle” due to its influential female residents. This is followed by a wine tasting session in the château’s historic cellar. The next stop is Max Vauché’s chocolate factory, where we learn about artisanal chocolate-making and enjoy a tasting. Finally, we visit Château de Chambord, the largest château in the Loire Valley, famous for its distinctive French Renaissance architecture and impressive double-helix staircase. We will take our group dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Amboise.
Day 9 | 12 July 2027 (B, D):
After breakfast our private coach willreturn us to Paris where we will have free time to explore the city at our leisure. We recommend a visit to world-famous Louvre or Invalides museum or a stroll along the Champs-Élysées. We will take our farewell dinner at the hotel or at a local restaurant. Overnight in Paris.
Day 10 | 13 July 2027 (B):
After breakfast we say our fond farewells as you make your way home.
