Penas Blancas River Safari - Enjoy this super immersive experience in nature and culture as we get in our inflatable boat and enjoy a relaxing ride along the river surrounded by the rainforest, home to numerous animals and birds. In the company of our professional and passionate naturalist guides

Hanging Bridges and Sloth tour – Visit the stunning Mistico Hanging Bridges & waterfall. No trip to the rainforests around La Arenal Volcano is complete without a journey through the famous Mistico Hanging Bridges Park. This unique hike takes you through the Volcan Arenal National Park to see the area from both above and below. Our Sloth watching trail is in a 30 acres area and has a trail of approximately 2 km long. Your guided hiking tour lasts 1 ½ hours with the help of an expert guide you can get to see from 4 to 6 sloths in their own natural habitat

Don Juan Farm, Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs - This is a wonderful combination of adventures in the northern lowlands. This full-day adventure tour combines three different activities. Our journey begins through varied fruit and vegetable plantations and livestock farms towards the Mirador 1968 Arenal in La Fortuna. This site offers a unique perspective of the Arenal Volcano with uninterrupted views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. Walk around the base of the volcano and lava flows on an intermediate level hike for approximately 90 minutes. Then, enjoy the stunning view with a tropical drink from the viewing hill which offers excellent photo opportunities. After this two-hour stop, it's time to move on to our next adventure of the day. Eco Finca Don Juan is located in El Burío, just 15 minutes away. This farm is owned by a real farmer named Don Juan, who will meet to begin a fun and educational visit to all the plantations, finding and tasting fruits that you probably didn't know existed before today. Enjoy a drink of cane liquor and conclude the visit in the dining room, where Mrs. Yamileth (Don Juan's wife) prepares a delicious, healthy and typical lunch with fresh and organic ingredients. She uses a stove that runs on methane gas produced by the farm's biodigester. After a beautiful and satisfying lunch, we continue our adventure in the northern lowlands towards the medicinal hot springs, a relaxing gift from the Arenal Volcano. Spend the rest of the afternoon bathing and lounging in the mineral-rich pools submerged in the rainforest.

2 June 3 hour morning Pickleball clinic with Pro & Play. This afternoon we have our first excursion - Canopy tour. Fly through the forest canopy. What could be the personification of what Costa Rica is? Nature and adventure combined in a single tour. So, get ready and fly along the cables that extend within the rainforest canopy for an unforgettable time full of thrills, laughter and fun! The tour includes a 40-minute horse or tractor ride to higher ground and then a leisurely walk to the first platform and cable, which is also an extraordinary wildlife viewing opportunity. And then the real fun begins! The nine platforms with interconnected cables are located on three different species of trees and are specially designed to observe the forest canopy. So, get ready and enjoy the thrill of the ride as you fly through the forest canopy!

3 June 3 hour morning Pickleball clinic with Pro & Play. After lunch we have our 4 hours Penas Blancas River Safari. An immersive experience in nature and culture. In a short 5-minute drive from the Tilajari Resort Hotel, we will reach the starting point at the Peñas Blancas River. Then, it's time to get on your inflatable boat and enjoy a relaxing ride along the river surrounded by the rainforest, home to numerous animals and birds. In the company of our professional and passionate naturalist guides, they will show you the diversity of flora and fauna, including monkeys, sloths, lizards, crocodiles and toucans, just to name a few. This is an experience close to nature. As we float down this pristine river, we will stop for a cultural experience and a time to experience the rural Costa Rica of yesteryear. María Isabel and Amada will welcome you in their country house, built by their father 80 years ago, to taste freshly brewed coffee and homemade sandwiches baked in the wood-fired oven. Their hospitality will enhance the flavours of your morning or afternoon tea and warm your heart. We continue our journey along the river that will flow into the San Carlos River. At our departure point, we will return to the hotel full of the colors and flavors of the river and its neighbors.

4 June Full day trip to the Mistico Hanging bridges and Sloth tour. After breakfast, we depart for our 2-hour excursion to the Mistico Hanging Bridges & waterfall, just ½ hour from the hotel. No trip to the rainforests around La Arenal Volcano is complete without a journey through the famous Mistico Hanging Bridges Park. This unique hike takes you through the Volcan Arenal National Park to see the area from both above and below. From curated gardens to raw rainforest beauty, there’s something new to discover every step of the way. Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park houses the coming together of several different ecosystems that create a transition vegetation strip with high biodiversity. It is located between the edges of two types of forest, highland and lowland, and integrates both of them. Throughout years of evolution, the rainforest lowland flora, representative of Sarapiquí y Tortuguero, migrated upwards and reached a height of 500-600 m, where it encountered and interacted with highland flora. Therefore, Mistico Park treetops provide the perfect environment for a high diversity of epiphytes, birds, mammals, butterflies, and more. Watch all of them closely from the hanging bridges. We will then have lunch locally (included) After lunch we head for our Sloth Tour. The sloth watching trail is in about a 30 acres area and has a trail of approximately 2 km long. Your guided hiking tour lasts 1 ½ hours with the help of an expert guide you can get to see from 4 to 6 sloths in their own natural habitat, different species of birds, sometimes snakes, insects and frogs. After our tour we will have free time to shop and explore the town of La Fortuna. We will stay in town for our group dinner at a local restaurant (payable locally). After dinner, we will return to our hotel for a relaxing evening in the hotel bar and grounds
