Day 1 (April 10): Arrival in Barcelona & Welcome Meal

You will be met at the airport by private transport and transferred to Hotel Colonial. You Diva Destinations hosts will meet you in the hotel cocktail bar for pre-dinner drinks. We will take our welcome Dinner at a traditional Catalan restaurant to kick off our Spain tour.

Day 2 (April 11): Gaudí & Modernism

After breakfast we will take our private taxis to the Sagrada Família (fast-track entry) for our guided tour. After lunch we will have a private guided walking tour of the Gothic Quarter’s hidden corners and history. We will have have the rest of the afternoon at leisure before taking our group evening meal at a local restaurant.

Day 3 (April 12): Montserrat & Park Güell

After breakfast our private coach and guide will pick us up and transfer our group to Park Güell. After lunch we will continue to the sacred mountain of Montserrat. Experience the Black Monastery and the stunning mountain views. We will return to our hotel late afternoon. We will take our group evening meal at a local restaurant.

Day 4 (April 13): Train Barcelona → High-Speed AVE → Madrid

After breakfast our private coach will transfer our group to Barcelona train station our train departure via AVE train. A smooth, 2.5-hour journey in premium seating. On arrival in Madrid our private coach will transfer our group to Soho Boutique Opera Hotel. In the afternoon we have a private guided orientation walk through Retiro Park, a 300 acre UNESCO World Heritage site and the most iconic green space in central Madrid. Once a private retreat for Spanish royalty, it has been a public park since 1868 and is a hub for both relaxation and cultural activities. Including its boating lake, the Crystal Palace, and diverse botanical gardens. After our walk we will take our group dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 5 (April 14): Royal Madrid & The Prado

After breakfast we have a private coach for our guided Madrid sightseeing tour. Hotel → Entry to the Royal Palace - the largest functioning palace in Europe. → After lunch we have a curated visit to the Prado Museum to see the masterpieces of Velázquez and Goya → We will return to our hotel in the afternoon. In the evening we’ll take our group dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6 (April 15): The Medieval Majesty of Segovia

Full Day: Private excursion to Segovia. Highlights include the iconic Roman Aqueduct, the Cathedral, and the Alcázar (the castle that inspired Disney). For lunch we will have the chance to enjoy local gastronomy in the heart of the medieval city. We will return late afternoon in time for our group dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 7 (April 16): Madrid at Leisure & Farewell Flamenco

Today is a free day to enjoy at your leisure. We will go through options with everyone on the day. We will take our Farewell Dinner accompanied by an authentic Flamenco performance in a historic Madrid setting. A great way to end the tour.

Day 8 (April 17): Departure from Madrid

After breakfast we say our fond farewells before being transferred by private taxi to Madrid Airport.
