Provincetown - Women’s Week Women’s Week has grown into a festival with over 300 events that attracts some of the most talented performers in the LGBTQ scene from all across the world as well as from the local community. Opera singers, comedians, actresses, authors, and musicians of all kinds flock to Provincetown for a week of celebration and entertainment and to participate in a wide array of events.

Women’s Week has is now an amazing array of over 300 events, attracting talented performers from the LGBTQ including locals and performers from around the world. From Opera singers, comedians, actresses to authors, and musicians - you can be sure there’s something for everyone. But ultimately it’s a week of celebration, a week to connect with women from our community. From past years there have been plays by, for, and about women, Provincetown’s own American Idol, literary meet-and-greets, writer’s workshops, comedy shows, concerts, and more. In addition to performances you might find football and golf tournaments, plus whale watching, dune tours, and hikes. Provincetown’s historic art scene will also be in abundance with galleries featuring works by female artists and hosting events celebrating women in art. So head to PTown and connect with women from around the world and experience the vibrant culture of Provincetown.
